Naturopathy is a philosophy and holistic healthcare system that recognises the healing power of nature present in all living things. As an holistic system it aims to promote and restore health by employing various natural treatment approaches that may include Naturopathic Nutrition, lifestyle advice, Hydrotherapy, physical therapy, Naturopathic Psychosocial support and other
appropriate techniques.
Naturopaths interpret presenting symptoms as the individual’s unique response to physical, emotional, environmental or genetic stress factors which can be identified by asking about your family history.
My role role is to identify these underlying causes and to promote the inherent self-healing power within the individual. Naturopathy is also a way of life and I will help empower you through education about lifestyle, diet, and exercise.
I do not diagnose or treat.

At the heart of Naturopathy is the individual selection and preparation of food to support our unique healing requirements. It seeks to create an optimal environment and improve our general underlying health rather than the management of symptoms in isolation.
Naturopathic Nutrition aims to restore our vitality through changes to diet, rectifying deficiencies, and cleansing techniques. It also works with the whole person recommending lifestyle changes and emotional support.
Many people find that improving their diet not only supports one symptom but can often lead to other health benefits, such as, increased energy levels, relief from anxiety, and improvements to skin.

You are asked to complete a Naturopathic questionnaire going back two generations, detailed case history from birth and give information on presenting symptoms. Also, complete a food diary.
In advance I review all information and draft the your protocol.
I then spend an hour discussing what I suspect. I do not diagnose but the presenting symptoms give a very good indication of the root cause and areas that need support.
Typical protocols last 8-weeks. A follow up is recommended 4-6 weeks later to track progress and for me to adjust the protocol, if necessary.
My premium wellbeing package combines the initial Naturopathic review with a Systematic Kinesiology® wheel balance (MOT for the mind and body). This provides additional insight. I also check for nutrient deficiencies and food sensitivities.
A follow up appointment takes place 4-6 weeks after or if relevant a specific balance before. The package is valid for 3-months from time of booking.

It emphasises a balance between mind, body, and spirit, viewing health as a dynamic equilibrium.
Ayurveda is an ancient system of healing. It is the oldest known medical system. Historical evidence shows that Ayurveda has influenced almost all medical systems in the world.
Through my Naturopathy training I have studied Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine, Tibetan Medicine, and Unani Tibb (Greek and Arabic Medicine).
I typically integrate Ayurveda into my Nutritional Therapy practice and Chinese Medicine into my Systematic Kinesiology® practice. However, this may vary based on the individual need and / or desire of my client.

Homeopathy is based on two principles that have occurred regularly throughout the history of medicine.
The first principle of 'like cures like' can be looked at in several ways. Our body knows what it is doing and symptoms are the body's way of taking action to overcome an illness. This healing response is automatic in living organisms.
The second principle, that only 'the minimum dose' should be employed is based upon the understanding that the stimulus of the medicine works from within the vitality
Homotoxicology is a blend of Naturopathy, Homeopathy and modern medicine.
The foundation of Homotoxicology is that the body is trying to maintain homeostasis, with inflammation being a sign that the body needs support.

Iridology does not diagnose specific conditions, however, it can provide insight into imbalances in organs and systems.
It is a great tool for Naturopaths and Nutritional Therapists to identify which areas of the body require support and which nutrients may be required.
I am increasingly including a brief review of the iris during my consultations and to complement my Systematic Kinesiology® practice.

Some simple herbal remedies may be included in our work together.

Hydrotherapy was the treatment of choice for centuries. Cold water swimming has been found to be very beneficial for depression.
Traditional Hydrotherapy techniques help to build immunity, support circulation, improve the quality of blood and lymph, and balance the autonomic nervous system.
I include basic Hydrotherapy recommendations in my practice, if relevant.
I have access to functional lab tests. These include adrenal cortisol & DHEA profiling and thyroid testing through Genova Diagnostics, hair mineral analysis through Analytical Research Labs, stool analysis through Biological Testing Services, and the SIBO Doctor breath test.
