Kinesiology is a complementary therapy based on the theory that manual muscle testing can provide information about imbalances and stresses in the body. I do not diagnose or treat, instead I work with you to explore how to bring your body back into balance. This may involve massaging specific points, providing suggestions, such as, nutritional supplements, relaxation techniques, lifestyle changes, flower essences and more.
In a Kinesiology session, you remain fully clothed. I will place your arm or leg into a specific position and will apply a light pressure against the muscle that is being tested while you are asked to match the pressure. At no time should you experience pain or discomfort with the testing.
Kinesiology is a relaxing, non-invasive therapy which encourages a sense of wellbeing. As such it may be helpful if you are seeking relief from a range of minor symptoms and to ease emotional, physical or mental stress.

I provide individual bespoke balances to target problem areas including ankles, bladder, endocrine, hips, hormones, immunity, intestines, knees, lower back, neck, shoulders, stress, and wrists.
All balances include the full Kinesiology MCPE approach to complementary healthcare:
Balances are complemented by dietary and lifestyle recommendations to follow for up to eight-weeks. This usually involves signposting to various articles I have written. If a full tailored protocol is required it is recommended that you book a Naturopathy consultation.
“Wow! What an experience with Laura today. She was spot on with how I had been feeling and treated me accordingly. It was amazing, I felt totally rejuvenated after my consultation! Highly recommend!”

A poorly functioning ileocecal valve (ICV) is very common. It is frequently the cause of “I just don't feel right” together with many types of pain (back, neck etc), inflamed joints, brain fog, low energy, loose bowels, constipation or unexplained digestive complaints.
The proper movement of food through our digestive system is controlled by several valves. The ICV is located between the end of the small intestine and the beginning of the large intestine. It controls the flow of digested food when it leaves the small intestine and goes into the large intestine. It should open and close at appropriate times. If it stays open too long or not long enough, problems occur.
I offer a specialised Kinesiology ICV correction technique. Aftercare advice will be sent to follow for a minimum of two-weeks.
Primary reflexes are automatic movements which are directed from the brain stem to assist a baby’s survival during the first weeks and months of life. These need to be inhibited by higher brain centres to allow more sophisticated neural structures to be developed. If they are not fully integrated they can inhibit neurological development.

I offer retained primary reflexes integration sessions by using muscle testing and balancing techniques.

I offer various energy balancing techniques drawn from Kinesiology, Eden Energy Medicine, my knowledge of Eastern Wisdom, and other training. This involves working with the energetic body including Ayurvedic chakras and nadis, the meridians and Five Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tibetan Medicine figure of eight energies, subtle bodies, and the aura.
I use crystals, Hayo'u gua sha tools, AuroSoma pomanders or quintessances, flower essences, essential oils, colour, and / or tuning forks to restore harmony.
In Kinesiology I use cranial techniques to detect and support the subtle movements and function of the bones, membranes, and fluids within the cranium (skull) and central nervous system.
These techniques are gentle, non-invasive, and deeply relaxing, often integrated as part of my approach to balance the body, mind, and energy systems.

The cranial bones are not rigidly fixed – they have natural, subtle movements that relate to the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) around the brain and spinal cord.
Disruption or imbalances in this craniosacral rhythm can affect the nervous system, posture, emotions, and energy flow.
I use muscle testing to detect imbalances in cranial rhythm or function and identify the priority correction.
Using light touch and specific hand placements, I can help release tension in the cranial sutures, rebalance the rhythm, and support nervous system regulation.
Cranial work is often combined with emotional stress release, nutritional support, and meridian balancing to address the root causes of imbalance.
Whether it is headaches, jaw tension, diverse learning needs, emotional stress, or general fatigue, cranial techniques can help restore harmony in the body and enhance the capacity for healing.
